Abstract
“Ye cao” is not only Lu Xun's own “voice of the heart”, but also contains a dialogue with the1920's new poetic world. Whether it is “my lovelorn” satire of Xu Zhimo, or in response to Zhang Yaoxiang's “voice of the fallen nation”, Lu Xun also expressed his own poetic attitude based on “voice of the heart”, which not only echoes the writing origin of “Ye cao”, but also influences the style choice, form practice of “Ye cao” to a certain extent. “Autumn night”, as the first story of “Ye cao”, first sets Lu Xun's search for his inner voice, “feeling”, as the final story of “Ye cao”, once again, Lu Xun emphasized the poetic significance of “the shouting of loneliness”. The exploration of“voice of the heart” thus forms the echo of the beginning, the end, while presenting the complete organizational form of“Ye cao”, it also links up the inner poetic spirit of“Ye cao”. Lu Xun not only dispelled his own confusion about “Death”, but also sorted out the courage, attitude of “Living”. Thus, Lu Xun completed the thought evolution from the “Ye cao” self to the “Essay” self
